48” x 48” x 2”
Rope & Wing is an original oil painting that merges Western iconography with surreal visual tension. A powerful bird expands its wings across a sky-blue field as a suspended cowboy figure appears tethered above it, creating a dramatic sense of weightlessness and pull. Fragmented roses, geometric blocks of color, and a rearing horse interrupt the scene, adding rhythm and abstraction to the narrative.
Blending realism, symbolism, and bold compositional cuts, this work captures the energy, myth, and distortion of the American West with a modern edge.
